Review: L'oreal True Match Crayon Concealer

Hey Guys!
Sorry I've been gone for a while but you know how the holidays are :)
Today I am here to talk to you guys about the L'oreal True Match Crayon Concealer. It says it is a very good blending concealer and honestly...it is. I think its very good at blending in evenly to the skin so long as you have a good color match for your skin tone. I like it because it is also a very good concealer due to the ability to build with it to get the coverage you want.
I've been wearing it on and off for the last few weeks and so far it hasn't caused me to have breakouts or irritations on my skin which is really good. I haven't had a problem with creasing on this concealer but I don't use it much on my eyes because its a solid and I don't want to pull on my under eye area, which would happen if you tried to apply it there. I would recommend sticking to a cream concealer for your under eyes, bu this is really good for use on the rest of your face or body.
Overall I really like this concealer it doesn't have a really wide range of colors and there aren't really any dark colors for skin tones of dark/deep colors. I don't know if the darkest color would look good on any skin tone in darker shades then mine. Hopefully they will make more shades later.
So basically I would greatly recommend this concealer :)

Happy Holidays Everyone! And I hope that you guys enjoy your time with your families and friends <3

Skin Care Review

Hey Guys!

Today I am reviewing Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream. The cream says it is for normal/combination skin and I think it is true to that. It is a very light moisturizer that doesn't make you look oily or shiny. It is okay to wear under your makeup because it seems to keep oily looking skin away. I think this would actually be good for girls or guys that have oily skin as well because of that factor. It's not thick enough to really help someone that has dry skin. I think this will be a great summer cream as well because of its lightness.

If you are dealing with really dry skin due to the winter weather then I would probably recommend going for a thicker cream. I use this as a night cream at the moment because it doesn't have SPF in it which I wouldn't recommend during the day.

The packaging is great its very clean looking and looks okay on a counter top. It is a glass container so I wouldn't recommend dropping it out of fear of it breaking. It has 1.7 OZ/50g in the container which is a pretty good amount and I bought mine for $8. It may cost more or less depending on where you purchase it.

I have had this cream for two weeks and it hasn't broken me out which is really great. To give you an idea of the consistence I would say think of aloe because it has that gel look and feel on the skin. I like it because it tends to have a cooling, soothing effect on the skin. Over all I like it.

I hope that this gives you a good idea of the product.

Fashion Tips: Statement Necklaces

Hey Guys!
I don't know about you guys but I love my statement necklaces. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and they can transform an outfit with ease. They can make a simple outfit become a well planned and well put together outfit to the unknowing eye. They can make any outfit shine in a way that it hadn't before. Even when you dress up sometimes it just feels like the outfit is missing something, put on a statement necklace on and it feels pulled together.

These necklaces are so fun to play with, they can come in some bold colors or patterns. These bold necklaces can be a bit more difficult to wear without looking strange. I would recommend wearing them with a more simple toned down outfit, one with soft colors or just one color like all white or all black. Wearing them with simple colors will make them the focal point, which is how they should be worn.

The other more "simple" statement necklaces are the ones that are clear or that have only one color that's not too bold. These can be worn for freely. These are the ones I would wear with a more casual everyday outfits. They still give your outfit that flare or uniqueness you desire and give your outfit some sparkle.

I hope that these tips help you guys out and I hope that if you were hesitant to buy one in the past that this post will make you feel a bit more confident about giving one a try.

Nail Polish Review

Hey Guys!
I am back with another nail polish review, this is another Wet n Wild nail polish I thought I would try another one and see if it was better. I was pleasantly surprised by this nail polish, it's name is "Under Your Spell". It's a great dark red metallic color. The formula is like a typical nail polish it dries hard  not like the other color I tried that was more of a gel consistency. The only complaint I would have for this color is it is not very opaque, I had to do three layers to get a deep consistent color. Other than that I see no problems with this nail polish, which means that this line of nail polish is kind of a hit or miss line. The line doesn't keep a single formula consistancy, sometimes you'll get gel other times you'll get a hardening polish. So it's gonna be a gamble.
Hope this helped you guys look into Wet n Wild polishes, their cheap but nice quality in general.

Fashion Tips: Blazers

Hey Guys!
I am a big lover of blazers, they are so versatile and come in different styles and colors. I have my own little collection of them varying for traditional black to light pink. I love them because they can give your outfit a splash of color and give it a whole new feeling. I also love how you can pull one on and dress up a simple outfit or wear them with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
Blazers are great for parties or a movie date, I know I love my t-shirt and jeans quick outfits with a comfy pair of Converse or Keds. When you wear a great blazer with it you don't look like you just got out of bed, you look like your stylish and effortless.

Brush Review!

Today I am going to review the Real Techniques Travel Essentials set.
The set comes with three brushes named: Essential Foundation brush,
Multi-task brush, and Domed Shadow Brush.
The set consists of the three brushes and a travel case/stand for your brushes.
I am a big fan of the Multi-task brush, it's big, fluffy and feels great against the skin also it can be used to apply powder foundations and blushes. They are all really well made, the bristles are soft and they don't fall off. I would consider them all your basic brushes, I have never been a fan of the flat foundation brushes before, but I have to say that it is a good brush. The domed shadow brush does the job well and it really good for going into the crease. The stand is sturdy but doesn't fully close completely it just folds over and velcros in place.
Over all the brushes are really good and the packaging is ok...I would defiantly recommend them because they are really good brushes. I plan on trying out their other brushes soon. Hope that you guys will give them a try and tell me what you think.
Have a great Sunday.

Nail Polish Review

These last few weeks I have been trying out the Wet n Wild Megalast
nail polish in the color Disturbia. In the bottle the color is a few shades lighter and has metallic purple in the formula. It has the ManiCurve Pro Brush in it which I liked, but I'm not a fan of the formula. It goes on really easily but it doesn't dry hard it's more of a gel consistency. With the gel consistency I noticed it doesn't last very long without getting damaged. It easily gets pushed up and pulled away from the nail. I had it on my toes as well and I was moving furniture, it scratched away in the middle of my nail which was really odd to me. It might last longer with maybe a hardening  topcoat on it, I used it with just a base coat to test if it's promise of long lasting color without chipping was true. I guess technically it's not wrong because it doesn't chip...it peels away. I haven't tried lots of other colors in this line, maybe it's just the formula to this particular color. It's not a bad color thought I think it's very similar to Essie Sole Mate, which I was a big fan of last fall. It's just a really dark shade of purple I don't see the metallic purple in it much at all which was disappointing. I would probably recommend going with Essie Sole Mate instead because it had a longer wear and didn't have the gel consistency. I've posted the links to both bellow.

Review Time :)

Hey guys! Today I wanted to talk about some  products that I have used that have been hits and misses for me.

MissSuave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo.
The first thing I noticed with this product was the smell, it literally makes you smell like an old lady. It's not a clean or floral odor that dry shampoos normally try to do but it doesn't smell like chemicals either. It also can leave a white residue on your hair where you spray it, but I have noticed that when you brush it the color fades. I also noticed it doesn't really do it's job, it helps a very small amount but not enough to be called a dry shampoo and the negatives of this product are just too high. In conclusion I would not recommend this to anyone, I would just stick to Batiste or Psst.

Hit: Revlon Photo Ready Translucent Finishing Powder. I noticed with this product it is not completely matte, it has some sparkling particles in it. I didn't know if I would like this but when I put it on it wasn't very noticeable on my face. I tend to have slightly oily skin and I wouldn't recommend more than one application of this, so don't use it for blotting or touch-ups it will start to be too heavy and leave you with a white glow on flash photography. I think the packaging is decent and it comes with a small brush...but I just used a powder brush with it. Overall I like it enough to keep using it, but for touch-ups I know to use another product.

That's it for today, see you again tomorrow.

Fashion Tips: Sweaters (for sweater weather)

Today I decided to talk about great ways to still wear your cute short skirts in these chilly breeze days that have come with December. I love this month and their are lots of parties and gatherings during this season, I don't know about you but I still love wearing my skater skirts all year long and for those of us that just get chilly temperatures and no snow, you can still wear them. I love to keep warm while wearing them by just adding on a pair of tights and a great pair of boots.

Sweater weather is also here and I love me some sweaters. They are great for everyday casual outfits or you can dress them up with a skirt or great pair of pants along with a great statement necklace and be ready for a romantic date night or a holiday party.

I'll be back with great tips and looks tomorrow.

Hello Lovely!

Hello Guys!

My name is Myah and I live in the states, I am newly 19 years old. I am a college student. I love playing with hair and makeup, I have learned most of my knowledge of these things through Beauty Gurus on Youtube. I have tons of goals and dreams on my bucket list like...publishing a novel, meeting the president, saving a life, kissing the love of my life in front of the Eiffel Tower, riding on the London Eye, seeing a show at the Sydney Opera House, etc. That's just to name a few. I love clothes and my friends often call me a chameleon because I don't have a set style I love to try all kinds of styles and the clothes I choose normally reflect my mood. I hope to share my stories and interests on this blog and maybe whoever is reading this will share in my feelings and follow this blog. Happy reading :)
